The St Maarten Tiki Hut Tour

The Tiki Beach Island Tour is a great option if you want an alternative to snorkeling from a boat trip, with added bonus of an island tour. The excursion includes snorkel gear, marine reserve access, and an excellent waiter service lunch at a beautiful tropical island only accessible by boat. This comprehensive package offers a real taste of the best that St Maarten has to offer and is fantastic for all ages.

You will be picked up at the cruise terminal by private air-conditioned van and begin a great guided tour of St. Maarten, with your first stop at Cay Hill lookout point, overlooking the Simpson Bay Lagoon with is chic mega yachts at anchor. From Simpson Bay the tour crosses the border (no passports!) into France to the cosmopolitan and quaint village of Marigot for shopping and exploring. With a colorful street market, great shops, bars and restaurants, along with a lovely marina, Marigot is a wonderful place to stroll and take in the true Caribbean atmosphere.

After Marigot, we head off to catch a small passenger ferry for the 10 minute crossing to Pinal Island for a 3 hour getaway. This is a beautiful palm fringed tiny tropical island, only accessible by small boat and our ferry crossing is included in your package. Here you will find a marine reserve that offers great shore snorkeling (gear included) and a famous tiki thatched beach restaurant & bar that serves up hearty delicious meals along with a welcome drink (all included in your package).

After a short briefing, you can snorkel with the colorful tropical fish in shallow and calm, crystal clear waters that are unique to this location, which is now a designated marine reserve. Snorkeling here is rewarding, safe and easy for all ages.

You can then take a cool rum punch, and choose one of our reserved tables to order from a choice of two superb dishes from the menu and relax in these idyllic surroundings. Kids will love the huge wild iguanas at the rear of the tiki bar that can be hand fed! Just a few steps away are your reserved sun loungers and shade, amongst the beach palms, with warm waters lapping at your feet. Let the afternoon slip by with a swim and snorkel, or just chill out on the beach with a cocktail. The choice is yours. We reluctantly leave the island at 3pm to begin our return transfers to the cruise terminal.
